July Fabrics

Here's a couple of new fabric designs I have been working on. I am not entirely happy with the purple ones...the pansy layout looks kind of stiff and is smaller than I planned, and the purple batik came out really dark...but one of my SAQA Visioning Project cohorts looooves pansies and wants to [maybe] buy some, so I guess I shouldn't be too hard on myself.

I redid the batik...lightened the color and made the repeat larger...just ordered new samples from spoonflower.com, so I'll see how it turns out.

These fabrics are so sensually beautiful; the images make one want to feel them; and to me they almost seem to emmanate a fresh scent---awesome. I have become one of your followers because I just want to see what you think of next! I hope you will become one of mine. I think you commented on one of my mixed media works. Pam

Linda I love all of them. Where do you get a program to make designs. I would really love to try this after you got me looking the fabrics there.. I had a piece with a monarc butterfly and it only had a few options to change it. Have you tried the one they offer throught their site? Just wondering. Also I love the these that you have posted here, it is justr a matter of taste. hugs Lisa
